BASIC OBJECT OF KNOWLEDGE [B.O.O.K.]: THE CONTEMPORARY BOOK AND ITS MODEL, exhibition-installation curated and designed by Danne Ojeda as part of her PhDArts research trajectory, is awarded the international Red Dot Design Award: Communication Design 2015.
‘With an innovative visual grammar resulting from the connection between curatorial concept, exhibition design and print collaterals, Danne Ojeda conceived B.O.O.K., an exhibition presented at the Centre for Contemporary Art, CCA, Singapore, 2014. This original combination made her work a recipient of the international RED DOT DESIGN AWARD: COMUNICATION DESIGN 2015.’

'The international 'Red Dot Design Award: Communication Design' is one of the largest design competition in the world. It is hosted annually by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen and is geared to all creative minds, from agencies, design offices and freelancers to companies. An international jury reviews and evaluates the submitted works according to criteria such as degree of innovation, functionality and the formal quality. The award-winning products are exhibited before an international public in the Red Dot Design Museum. Red Dot awarded works are also presented in the International Yearbook Communication Design, the Red Dot Design Museum Essen, as well as in more than a dozen world’s design metropolises with Red Dot on Tour in 2016.
