The Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome (KNIR) presents the work of the artists Krien Clevis and Leonid Tsvetkov.

On January 31st the Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome (KNIR) , theMondriaan Fund and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands are pleased to present 'Contemporary Art between Science and Society' featuring the work of the artists Krien Clevis and Leonid Tsvetkov.

These Dutch-based contemporary artists, both working in Rome and inspired by the Eternal city, will present their work in which they connect Science with Society. The work of Leonid Tsvetkov in Rome explores the intersections of history, material culture and consumption as they impact social and physical landscapes from antiquity until today. Krien Clevis is working on four photo billboards related to the KNIR excavations of the Porticus Aemilia, Testaccio, Rome.
